Newcastle United's Champions League campaign reached a new height on Tuesday evening as they fought to a 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
Kylian Mbappe had the first chance of the evening, however, his well-struck shot was saved well by Nick Pope in the Newcastle goal.
Alexander Isak then had the first chance for the visitors, but the Swedish forward fired his effort over the crossbar from close range.
Isak wouldn't miss a second opportunity though, with the former Real Sociedad goalscorer reacting quickly to a rebound in front of goal and placing a shot into the back of the net.
It was a shock goal that few expected Newcastle United to get, and they then adjusted their approach accordingly, looking to slow the game down and limit the opportunities PSG had.
Kylian Mbappe stepped up and fired the penalty into the roof of the net, giving Nick Pope no chance to further his impressive evening to that point.
