The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Thursday evening failed to beat Lesotho in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Nigeria is away to Lesotho in the second fixture of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series. It is the third time ever both countries will face each other on the international scene.
Nigeria are on course to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, following a 4-2 win over Lesotho on Sunday. The Super Eagles had defeated Benin Republic four days ago in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
"I am calm because they played well in the second half against Benin, but you never know in the next match (against Lesotho), they must stay humble," Rohr told reporters in his pre-match press conference ahead of Nigeria's clash with Lesotho
